I stayed at Akasha Retreat Centre in February 2013. Theresa and Vaughan were so lovely and accommodating allowing guest’s space to themselves yet always up for a chat when you needed one. The house was amazing (the photo on the site does not do it justice).The food tasted great and as a plus it was so healthy - my body thanked me for it! It was so lovely to get away from all the hustle and bustle of the suburbs and immerse myself in the beautiful bush lands. The views were so amazing with only the sounds of nature. Daily massages and saunas were heavenly combined with the meditation and the gentle yoga. It was carefree and not heavily structured like some retreats. And Theresa is an inspiration for a simpler, caring, loving type of lifestyle. It has changed my view on what I eat and how I should create more time for myself to relax. The health problems I had dissipated whilst I was there – therefore really opening my eyes to the toxic lifestyle I have been leading. I just loved it and can’t recommend it enough!
