Loved our visit here. The volunteer at the front desk was friendly and informative. The place is huge with heaps to learn and read. And lots of little interesting nooks and crannies to check out such as their replica mine and blacksmith hut. Very glad we stopped by to check this place out!

Fascinating place with souvenirs and gifts at all prices. Fabulous photos from way back.

We visited this museum on its 35 anniversary and sadly arriving at 3pm we were the first visitors for the day. A shame as the museum is worth an hour's visit and easily accessible off the Bruce Highway just out of town. The staff are friendly and the free guide book is excellent. Exhibits are well maintained and interesting. You won't leave thinking it's one of the best museums you've ever visited but you should find something of interest.
