My Man

I was strolling through the home HQ looking to buy a new stick vacuum, I'm glad that I popped my head into Godfreys. The demonstrations were magnificent and the blokes class acts. I loved it so much that instead of buying a Dyson (which I was planning to do) I purchased a Tineco s12. BEST MACHINE ON THE MARKET. Highly recommended, 5 stars. Keep up the good work fellas!!

Had the most humiliating experience at this store. The salesperson Andrew and the store manager are the worse customer service staff I ever dealt with. They don’t listen or respect the customers view. The basic service anyone can provide is friendly customer service and this team doesn’t know anything about it.

Purchased an expensive powered head vacuum on the strong recommendation of the salesman, specifically to pick up hair from very long haired dogs. Returned after 24 hours because the machine removed all the hair from the floor, but sucked none of it into the cannister, instead winding it around the rotating brush. Successfully returned it, but the salesman refused to believe me, and said the photo I produced of the brush completely clogged with hair was evidence that our old vacuum was ineffective. It made no difference to him that I told him that the old machine filled the cannister with hair instead of winding it around the brush. They price matched a Bissell machine in exchange, but as in the previous review, the manager tried to tell me that any warranty claims should go to Bissell. When I pointed out that this is contrary to Victorian consumer law he said that it would be “”easier”to deal directly with Bissell. I understand that Godfreys is a franchise operation. If so, I would recommend avoiding this store.

The Indian guy running the store says there is no warranty on Oates products. Purchased a cobweb brush. Used it at home once and it snapped. Took it back a week later with receipt and he said they would not warranty or replace it. BEWARE THEY ARE DISHONEST CROOKS
