Saturday morning I went in asked the shop assistant some questions. One of the responses was "Google it". I should have walked out there and then. It was one of those experiences where you buy it but you regret giving them the money afterwards. Also constantly trying the up sell. I didn't feel the love the whole time I was there.

Saturday morning looking for light weight stick vac for my elderly mother. Why Godfreys? - cos they showed stick vacs on the telly and they look friendly! Finding the store required a search of google maps. Only a small red flag with a symbol for us to guess identification. One staff member to serve. Behind counter with another customer. Eventually comes around. No smile, clearly not interested. Showed one vac that I pointed out, offered no other ideas or options. Emptied vac onto floor to demonstrate and we continued to walk the dirt into the floor. In the mean time other customers arrive - no recognition. We leave with nothing to consider. Mmm says mum - they look like they are a pop up shop - ready to leave at the end of the weekend. Where else can we go says mum cos we wont ever need to revisit this store again. Couldn't agree more.

Do not believe anything the staff or owner say. Do your own research into the products and the warranty. They will do and say anything to sell you the product that they get the biggest profit margin on, or have the biggest back log of stock on. But will not follow up on customer service after you walk out the door with the product. I found them to be exceptionally rude and condescending when trying to explain the issue I had with the product (Hoover vogue bag less vacuum) which was still in warranty. They tried and said everything to try and and get out of the store warranty. Due to the hassles I encountered when dealing with them, I do not recommend this store to anyone who want a reliable product and good honest customer service.
