I've been unhappy with our Dyson so I popped into Godfrey's today (Thurs 15th Oct 2020) and was greeted with an awesome salesman. Spent some time explaining to him what our house floors are like and what I'm looking for in a vacuum (powered head, quiet, bagged etc.) and ended up purchasing a Hoover action pets after he showed me a few different models. After returning home and setting it up my floors has never looked cleaner, it's dead quiet compared to all the vacuums I've used and it's exactly what I wanted. Can't be happier with the service I received.

Bad experience with these people. No after sales courtesy whatsoever. Would never buy from them again. I agree wholeheartedly with the Judith Mcinerney who said the salesman? was too pushy! No help whatsoever. I notice the different reviews- perhaps he's got a split personality. Come on Godfreys, you can do better.

If one particular salesman didn't try so hard to UPSELL and just let you have a look he might get more sales. Way too pushy, a big turn off for me and I walked out. Oh and the story about his Grandmother and her Bowling friends, come on now!!!

Bought a vacuum cleaner 2 months ago as I had new carpet installed and other vacuum cleaner was to strong for the depth of the pile. Bought a rechargeable handheld Hoover failed after 2 months. Wanted an exchange for another new one, they said all faults have to be returned to factory for repairs, may take two weeks to get an repair done. No offer of 'loan' vacuum. NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER. Have been going to Godfreys for over 20 years, will not go back again.

Never ever go there, so i was walking past the shop though to stop and have a look, this salesman came to me and i said to him im just wanna have a look. But this guy was convincing me to buy this hoover vacuum. I have to tell him more than 20 times that im not to buy it but he was forcing me to buy it, kept dropping the price, then offered me some buy now pay later service. I kept telling him no, but it was literally shoving that vacuum up my throat. When i said to him ill come back he said it will all be gone and make it look like the 3 pieces he had were last on the earth. He wasted my 30 minuets and made me feel so uncomfortable. Just do go there, and if you wanna go there do your homework beforehand or he will sell you what he want to sell not what you want to buy. And he told me he works at gosford Godfreys as well.
