Very disappointed. They have sent the wrong product two times. First the doors weren't what we had ordered, so we had to wait again weeks to have these installed. Second the shutters after 8 months waiting (with COVID) they finally arrived and sent the carpenter again with the wrong ones. Really!! Again. :( The carpenter "Bill" is a lovely man and make a great job.

Happy with installation - but not happy that there is no disposal/removal of old doors/frames which is not stated anywhere. Left with the trouble of removing old frames - left with nails sticking out of old frame and all left on the front doorstep. Not great final service.
Jake and Sam did a brilliant job on our two new doors. Great communication, timely delivery, and top notch workmanship. Very highly recommended.
We went into showroom, intending to replace our aluminium sliding doors. We saw and fell in love with timber French Doors. We decided to replace both sets of aluminium doors - over 5000. The doors are fine but the frames are made of finger jointed timber and when we applied a clear varnish the joints became obvious. The result is hideous. The staff dismiss it with ..well that's the timber we supply. Customer service suggested we stain the wood dark to lessen the hideous look of the joints. The timber supplied is NOT that is on display in the showroom. All the advertising describes the doors as elegant, refined and quality..but the result looks more like a patch work quilt. Numerous calls, emails and no concern other than : "that's what we sell".....and "well you did sign for it"...well, we were caught weren't we?? We misunderstood, didn't realise the - slogan Doors Plus No Fuss, meant No Care. Others Beware! 5000.00 and the result is horrendous to look at. NO STARS. Dear Gus, the timber frames that you have on display in Footscray do NOT have finger joint timber. So you could replace the hideous patch work that was installed in our home with the same type of timber that you used for display in your Footscray store. That's all we are asking - to have installed the same product that we saw in YOUR showroom. At the very least you could have advised when we purchase the doors...."By the way we won't be using the timber that we have displayed - we will be using finger joint timber". Not too much to ask. I am sure potential customers will be shocked to see that 5,000 buys an embarrassing patchwork of timber. Your suggestion that a darker stain will lessen the hideous result is fraught with the danger that it may in fact further highlight the hideous joints. I think the pictures speak for themselves
We had some pretty particular requirements for our doors and Jake sorted everything out for us with no fuss at all. Will definitely be back when we do the next phase of our extension.
Highly rate the team at doors plus in Footscray. I dealt with Jake personally, he was nothing but helpful, patient and informative as he knew his product very well. The installation of the aluminium doors was very straight forward and streamline. Sam was the person who did the final onsite inspection and installation. I couldn't be more happy with his advice and service.
Great product and service from the team at Footscray. Done everything they could before we went into lockdown and as soon as they were able to, scheduled us in for installation. Sam the fitter was great and managed to come earlier than scheduled. Only thing that wasn't quite right, were that the door handles delivered did not match, so I had to pop into the store to replace them with a different style, which they did with no issue.
