Steve at the Glassman did a great job, with EXCELLENT customer service along the way. All this, and a competitive price. Highly recommend.
I am sorry to say that I cannot recommend The Glass Man for your glass showerscreen repairs. We hired them in December 2018 to "replace showerscreen hinges and re hang" our shower door (as per their invoice) for which we paid 357.50. Four months later (April 2019), the shower door had slipped down, and when we contacted The Glass Man to follow up, we were told that there was no warranty for the work they had performed because they had not done the original installation. I wish we had known this upfront, we could have gone with a more reputable vendor. Response to the owner's response: You were asked to warranty your own work, your repair work, not someone else's. If you thought it was a "substandard" screen which you would not be able to repair, perhaps you should have said so before taking our money. That would have been more straightforward and reasonable; and, we would have considered replacing the showerscreen with you. As it is, you have proven yourself fairly untrustworthy. In addition, you could have contacted us directly when we first communicated our dissatisfaction with your refusal to stand behind your work. Instead, you only reached out to us via a response to a poor review. Meh.
The guys provided an Excellent service, on time and were a good price
Was surprised with the service based on the previous reviews as my installation did not occur on the agreed upon date (no communication on their part, but they responded to my enquiries after measurements were taken as I was concerned having not heard from them. No attempt from them to contact me). Zero response after installation when I emailed to say my shower was leaking after installing (ie once payment was received. Had a shower screen installed). Not sure if this is common practice.
