Been a member since the 1970's. Many takeovers and amalgamations since. I'm still here and very happy with their online banking system, but not with branch closures. I recently visited the closest local branch at Randwick (a 20km drive from home) to bank some cheques and found it had closed down. I called CUA to complain and they advised I could make cheque deposits through the local post office. If I need to visit one of the few remaining Sydney branches I will make sure that is actually there before leaving home. Always had a good experience with past customer service so rating it 4 stars (for the moment)

They simply cancelled my car insurance due to an expired card, no attempts to call or resolve this. Horrible experience.

worst service I ever received from any bank or credit union. My wife's sister had to go into a nursing home due to dementia and we showed them the power of attorney which they did not accept as they told her there were pages missing. We told them the format changed over the years but they did not accept it. Everyone else accepted it like the nursing home, CES, Financial adviser, phone & electricity co. but not cua. In the end she filled in a statuary declaration at the council which they accepted.Then we told them not to reinvest a term deposit when it matures but they did the opposite. As we had to pay for the nursing home it created a lot of problems. If I could I would give them a minus 5 stars
Cua used to be excellent but in the last few years they are terrible. I am 73 and partly blind so I need things unchanged but they have closed branches and made online phone banking impossible for me to use. Another change 2weeks before Xmas which means no Xmas c Shopping for me. I can't see my accounts now. Changing banks today after more than 40 years.
Great hustle from the team to get me a bank cheque issued at 4:45pm on a Friday. As a new customer I was very impressed and felt like I made the right choice banking with CUA.
