Other than the lolly shop and Tavern not being open, this place was very good. Our volunteer tour guide, Leigh, was excellent! The evening Light & Sound show was not only educational, but impressive. I expected more people in period costume like the advertisement, however it was a 37 degree day so we are in fact very grateful that even our tour guide wore his full wool uniform. Super special shout out to the Tea Rooms, where we had an amazing scone lunch!!

A lovely place. The restoration and preservation are impressive. However, I'm not sure is it due to the covid era and lack of tourists, the lack of proper guided tours is damaging the overall experience. The evening lights event is magnificent, dont miss it. The morning staff was very friendly but unfamiliar with the place and era. I left with unanswered questions that I had no one to ask. I hope the lack of morning guided tours was a local event that doesn't reflect on the day to day handling of this historic gem.

Purchased day tickets only as the night show was sold out. Make sure to go on a nice day as the best part was enjoying the awesome views from the top of the hill. Learnt a lot but the overall atmosphere isn't super immersive or lively. It was very quiet. The pies from the tearoom were really nice!

Really good. Its a "maritime" version of Ballarats Sovereign Hill, very interesting and for 19 entry each we wondered for 2 1/2 hours so we'll worth a visit.

Nice place to visit. We went as two adults and spent one hour here. We arrived at 10am just as it was opening and it was very quiet, which was nice although the Lolly shop and cafe were not open until 11am.

We had an awesome time at this historical venue/museum, a window into the history of Warnambool.

Good bit of fun, and learning about our dangerous coastline. Bit of walking involved, so if hips of knees are bad, suggest and aide to help.

Very cute little town and very informative. We highly enioyed the small museum coming in, learnt a lot about the history of the area! The staff spread amongst the town were also very friendly and full of hidden information!
