Some sweet trails out here, even if you haven’t got 2 wheels on your bike…

Didn’t mountain bike but drove in and parked nearby and walked to the Blue Lake. There’s a few trails to walk as well. It’s such a great spot for a swim and picnic. Very nice, but super crowded so get there early to get a spot. The walk from the car park was about 20 minutes as the gate to the main carpark is closed.
So beautiful! Great afternoon walk with the family. There are hidden little tracks and a bridge that goes over the water. There are Bike tracks also but more for experienced riders. Some tracks are steep, and when wet are quite slippery. Unfortunately no dogs allowed.
Awesome trails and you'd never say you're in the city. Would be nice if the trails were signposted so make sure you've downloaded a trail app if you don't have one
This is the parking spot near blue lake where you can park also if you wanted to ride the numerous trails that go all through the area as well. Different graded trails to explore in the area.

Heaps of tracks to make your own fun, most are old school with next-to-no berms, some very steep and technical, some flowy, and some outright stupid switchbacks. Lots of short climbs followed by rewards. Yes it's easy to get lost... But isn't that part of the fun!?
