I drove 50 klm to my son in laws house to mow and whipper snip his acreage property before it goes on the market and his mower that was supposedly "repaired" by these guys and dropped back Friday evening but not used, would not engage the blades. I have a similar mower so I knew where to check and I soon discovered the problem. When they had removed the magnetic clutch so they could replace the 2 wheel drive belts, they had put the clutch on about 90 Degrees off where it was supposed to be. This meant 2 things.. The clutch was now resting one of the drive control levers and also had stretched the 2 wires that activate the clutch to a point where one of the wires had been ripped off the clutch..... aaaahhhh...They obviously didn't know what they were doing and obviously didn't test the mower before sending it back. This is not the first problem he has had with them. if they don't know how to fix a Toro then they should say so instead of stuffing people around. Fortunately I was able to correct their dodgy workmanship by removing the bracket and spinning the clutch around to the correct locator groove and then solder the wire back on.. If I could give them ZERO stars I would...
