A 5 star must and definitely worth going if you're a train lover or have a kid who loves Thomas and co. It's big enough to keep your child entertained for a full day. Has a nice cafe where you can grab a snack. Reasonably priced and ok food. They have a souvenir shop with some reasonable prices and some a bit over. If you're looking for a particular item and you like it, it doesn't cost you a leg. Overall it was a very pleasant experience both for adults and children. Would probably get a yearly pass and not regret it.

Always a great day out for little ones and big kids at heart! Plenty to see and do, plus it is very COVID-19 safe... don't forget to book online before you go.

Very entertaining for the kids and adults. Thomas the tank engine was a big hit as was the science experiments. Maybe the cafe needs more variety, but plenty of nice spots for a picnic too. Overall good day out with the kids.

Would have been better if everything was open and the tours are on. Not worth it. Food at the Cafe is very good.

Fantastic for small and curious minds and hands. Excellent for rainy days and train enthusiasts. We have a 2 and 3 years old who absolutely loved it. The parents loved it as well as it was an easy walk from carpark to the door. Massive undercover area to protect against the rain and/or sun. Great entertainment for the whole family and lots of information about the history of Qld trains for the older generations. Café with drinks and food, toilets with change tables, wheelchair/trolley/pram friendly over the whole undercover area and café. You can bring your own food/snacks/drinks just be mindful of where you're feeding your kids. Adult supervision is required but the kids can go nuts playing with pretty much everything that's there. Have fun! IG @dontstophammertime
