A good coffee, well attended milk and quick and friendly service. The mountain top has a European feel and the staff are happy and skilled. All covid safe too. Cycle there it's just the right breather.

Lovely dinner, great service and beautiful view over Canberra. Nice little touches to personalise for our anniversary dinner too. The restaurant is quite open to the kitchen, so you get a little more noise than other fine dining I've been to, but certainly nothing to detract from the experience. Will definitely go back, it was delicious and the view over sunset was so beautiful.
Beautiful restaurant with beautiful views of the Canberra. The staff is very attentive and very nice. Only constructive feedback in that regard was that maybe too many different person were asking us the same questions about drinks and starters at the beginning..so it could be more coordinated. Food wise, I probably had one of the best beef dishes I've ever had, melting in the mouth, beautiful. I enjoyed all the dishes and dessert a bit less but more due to taste preference than cooking execution. Overall it was a good experience and I 'd recommend anyone to try Onred especially for a romantic occasion or intimate celebration.
Slightly overpriced but really good for a special fine dining experience. The view is absolutely lovely and the food is quite delicious. I had the vegetarian three course and was satisfied. The wine pairing added a beautiful charm to the food. The service was lovely and overall would recommend for once-in-a-while special experience!
I had a cheese platter for dessert and that was the best part of the meal and honestly if you can f up a cheese platter you'd be worried. I ordered mainly vegetarian options, it's clear this kitchen has no idea how to cook good fresh food unless it contains meat! Unless you are a carnivore steer clear, save you . My partner ordered some of the meat and seafood dishes which weren't bad and the service was pleasant.
Service can be better, a bit understaffed, but, they tried their best! One of the waiters forgot the special menu Not sure whether everyone is buying the matching wine packages, however, always took a while to have our tap water refilled Nice view! The dishes are okay, sadly, the steaks are poorly done. We had three steaks, 2 of them well done.
Onred has a great location and friendly staff. It would benefit from a slightly better execution of the food which were good, but maybe not up to the standard of other fine dining options in Canberra. Also with such a great view it would be better if the windows had a clean so that it was easier to see.
Food was better than the last time I went. Only one stand out dish - watermelon. Don't get the duck if you like crispy skin. Neither dessert wowed me. Clarify when you order wine. Requested half a bottle which is on their menu, but somehow it became a whole one. Don't feel like we drank it either because they don't leave the bottle on the table.
