Gunners Barracks is a beautiful luxurious heritage venue with fantastic views of Sydney Harbour and we were fortunate enough to have our wedding there. We appreciated that venue hire is exclusive enabling an intimate evening with family and friends. Our event coordinators Jasmine and Mel were excellent professionals, helpful, confident, and flexible. And of course, the food was brilliant. We would recommend Gunners Barracks if you're lucky enough to have it available on your day.

From booking in Jan 2019 to getting married in March 2021, my husband and I had the best experience. No delay in replies from emails, so organised and so wonderful to deal with. All the staff helped us move our date twice because of covid and it made my life so much less stressful. Sophie Noble was the one who sold me on the venue and I couldn’t thank her enough for that because it was such a beautiful spot. We had Jasmine Massey Coordinate our beautiful day and she was so attentive, so bubbly and so welcoming. Always happy to answer my million questions. The team on the floor like Nick and Tom did a fantastic job in the night. The food was delicious and the wines from the Grand Beverage package were a hit. Best time. Thank you Grand Pacific Group.

Being one of the highest rated high tea venues in Sydney I definitely had to give this experience ago. From beginning to end we were met with great service and food. Ince we had decided on our course the food quickly arrived along with our choice of tea. The waiters also informed us about everything that we were about to explore which is a very nice touch. The food itself was wonderfully presented and quite delicious. If you have a bit of a sweet tooth I highly recommend the Gunners Barracks. I would recommend though to choose a tea that is not too bitter as the tea leaves are left inside the pot which can cause the tea to get stronger throughout the dining experience creating quite an overwhelming bitter flavour so be sure to request more water for your pot if required.

Lovely spot for lunch. We visited few times for both high tea and lunch. Great quality and fresh food. Friendly and excellent services. Booking is recommended so you won’t disappoint. Parking is free and plenty.

Our wedding in May 2020 was postponed due to government regulations around COVID. We recommend and wholeheartedly thank everyone at Gunners’ Barracks for their help and patience in the lead up to our new wedding day, Saturday 16 January 2021. We had the most wonderful day with our family and friends. All the recommended vendors from Gunners’ Barracks were fantastic, and in turn we highly recommend them. We are incredibly happy with our decision to host our ceremony and reception at Gunners’ Barracks. In Sydney, I’m not sure if there are any other venues that offer the ‘complete package’ such as Gunners’ Barracks: ample of free parking, beautiful historic venue all to yourself, wonderful harbour views, brilliant sunset all matched with fine food and attentive service. Thank you Gunners’ Barracks for allowing us to have such a special and memorable wedding day.

The most wonderful High tea experience. Such a nice location with a beautiful room to dine in. The food was really yummy and the drinks were great. Service was great here too. Liked it enough to look into having my wedding here!! I don’t normally like macaroons however the salted caramel one was delicious!!
