This orchard/farm of sorts is run by a lovely couple - Margo and Peter. We accessed the farm gate through a lush rainforest driveway and were greeted on the other side by Margo and Peter who were our hosts for the morning. From there we hopped into a van which took us to the main homestead. On the drive Margo talked us through the history of the farm they bought 22 years ago, and we stopped to taste a few berries and cherries on the way too. The rest of the morning is spent looking at the main native/local rainforest fruits and plants they grow and tasting a little bit of everything. Their main products are Davidson plums and Lemon aspen fruit. Our favourite part was the delicious morning tea Margo put up for us which had bread, jams, dips, cheese, cake and cookies! If you are lucky you may get to see a Cassowary! The entire experience felt so homely and informal - almost as if we were friends who came to visit instead of tourists.
