Was so special. I was impressed by the seating platform structures. My group of 6 friends had good view.. of the stage . With the screen showing close up visuals. The performance was very enjoyable

I will always give 5 stars whenever there is an oasis in the concrete jungle. A pleasant way to spend some time in nature on a warm day under the shade of the trees. Nearby cafes for a spot of lunch beforehand. Share the view with the birds in the trees or ants on the ground. Happy days.

Every time I pass through this part of the city, I'm surprised at how *quiet* it is! You can still hear the traffic, but through all the trees it turns into something like white noise, or the sound of the ocean. There's so many gardens, sculptures, memorials and other features, that it's worth spending a few hours here each time you visit the CBD.

Beautifully maintained park, great for picnics and walks. Public toilets available. Various statues and monuments provides for an interesting walk. Large grounds provides for plenty of available space and social distancing for picnics. Most parking spots are metered, with up to 4h spots.

King's Domain Gardens house many of the items I photographed below. Botanical Gardens [great place to learn about our flora and fauna], Yarra River [lifeline to the city and sporting arenas], Sidney Myer Music Bowl [opera in the park and other concerts] and the Shrine of Remembrance [plenty to see for war/history buffs]. The Tan and numerous other walking paths intertwine throughout the Domain. People come from far and wide to be here [though currently, only if in a 5km radius - to be revised mid-September]. You will find war memorials, statues of past kings and war heroes such as Sir Weary Dunlop and King George V, American Woodland and Pioneer Women's Memorial gardens, large bells, temples/pavilions, impressive gates/arches, dedication to our Aboriginal Heritage, plus grottos [Fern Gully] and Walker Fountain. I usually visit this area at least once a week [less during lockdown] as it makes for an exciting and informative 1-2 hour walk.
