Well maintained, helpful guidance signs to see the carvings, pleasant, easy, slightly inclined access track. Very much worth a stop in with time to enjoy the walk and the carvings.

An outstanding aboriginal art site located about 300 metres from Woy Woy Road at Kariong. The engravings were drawn at least 200 years ago say local aboriginal elders. The path that leads from the carpark to the drawings is concreted. The path around all the drawings is a boardwalk. I highly recommend visiting this location. There is no shelter, cafe or toilets at this location. There is a small carpark. #kariong #CentralCoast

Easy walk to get to (paved track) which is approximately 300metres from the car park. Once you arrive,a boardwalk takes you around the site and marker descriptions explain each carving. They are easy to see and it is amazing to see, it doesn't say the carvings have been touched up so i believe they are all in their original state

This is a great place to visit if you are interested in history and Indigenous culture. Amazing how history is still around after so many years. I love the fact that the engraving site has been well preserved and has a boardwalk around it. Definitely a place to visit snd worth a look- set in a quiet spot. If you go there, take a short drive further along to Staples lookout. Amazing view
