A great place to go and walk through the gardens or just relax and take in some of the views the gardens has to offer. You may see some of the wildlife roaming through the gardens or just go down to the lake to watch the platypus. Plenty or room to sit and relax and have a picnic in the peaceful gardens. There is also a cafe there if you like a bite to eat or a coffee. The park is run by volunteers and there is a small donation of 5 for the adults but its worthwhile. You can place this in the box at carpark or by using the qr code provided.

Very beautiful spot in Tassie! Bbq and tables available for visitors use! Big area with plenty of plants and trees, there’s a lake in which you can spot platypus swimming. There’s also a watching platform available from where you can watch the wildlife! I recommend to go for the day and chill ;)

What a lovely place to visit. Fantastic that dogs are allowed too. Platypus are plentiful and we received great service from the ladies at the Cafe. We will be back again soon.

Lovely spot run by volunteers. We saw many platypus, birds, wallabies and interesting varieties of trees. So happy to support a local initiative like this!

A scenic and arboreal gem. The cafe is staffed by friendly volunteers. Don't miss trying the home made ice cream.

The prices were reasonable and service from the volunteers was cheerful and friendly. We will return in the Spring, but any weather with suitable clothing would be fine to visit.

Amazing place. Quiet and beautiful. Really appreciate the effort for conserving the area. A hidden jem near Devonport. Probably the best place to see wild platypus \u003c3
