Exceptional service by the ladies here at A Bridal Affair (Massive thank you to Debbie, you listened to what I was looking for a delivered), a store you must stop into if you're looking for your dress for your special day with a generous variety to choose from and very reasonable pricing. Very disappointing experience. There was only one salesperson working who had to try and help different customers at the same time. The poor woman couldn't possibly give each customer the help and attention they needed. The range of sizes in store is also disappointing. There was often only one size in store of a particular style. How is someone who is a size 14 supposed to see how a dress will look if they only have it in size 8? Minimal help was given when trying on dresses. Don't waste your time here.

I attended an appointment to try on wedding dresses, accompanied by my mum, mother-in-law and maid of honour. After entering I was asked what style I was looking for, and after telling the lady working she responded by pointing to a rack and saying “you’ll find all of those dresses there” and walked back to another client in the change room. I spent approximately 5-10 minutes looking at dresses, unsure of what to do with the ones I liked as I had no attention what so ever. The lady working eventually came up to me and said “oh there you are! I have been looking for you!” (Which is a lie... it’s a small shop and I could hear her clearly talking to the lady in the change room and her plus ones). I pointed out the first dress I liked and she said “only 1? That’s a poor effort!”. I picked another 2, and I was extremely disappointed with the sizing. I am a 10-12, and 2 of the dresses were a size 2/XS. How can a bride form an accurate opinion on a dress when it doesn’t fit her body AT ALL? I received no help putting the dresses on, my maid of honour helped me. The only input the lady working had was “oh wow! You would suit anything though”... to all 3 dresses... how is this helpful? There were other minor details that I won’t mention in this review. We could not rush out the door quick enough. I will mention that the store was understaffed, apparently “3 other people called in sick”. However, I would have appreciated a phone call to notify me that I would not receive any attention and to ask if this would be alright. I attended 3 other shops in the same day so I know what good service should be.

We had such an amazing experience at A Bridal Affair! Debbie is really thoughtful, kind and goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and find a dress that is perfect for you. The store has such a vast range of dresses, all so beautiful, making it difficult to choose just one! I would definitely recommend any soon-to-be bride get her wedding gown from A Bridal Affair. I am so thankful to Debbie for her much appreciated assistance to help me find a dress I love.
