We had an amazing day out on the reef with Seastar. All staff were super friendly and helpful. Michaelmas Cay and Hastings reef were both beautiful and provided different types of reef viewing. We saw so many fish and a sea turtle at both locations! It was nicer being on a smaller boat with less other people so we weren’t fighting to get the best views. All equipment was included and good quality. And lunch was delicious! Highly recommend

Absolutely loved this trip. The staff were great, helpful and accommodating. They looked after my teenage daughter very well for her first dive experience. The boat was fast, clean and food was great. The reef locations are very good for the first time visitor. You will impressed by the corals and fish. Highly recommended.

Had a great time. Amazing friendly staff. Great locations. Liked it better then quicksilver. Dives are only 45 for 30 or so minutes. Highly recommend. Don't be scared of the cheaper pricing.

This is simply flabbergasting and a mega nice experience. Very professional and absolutely positive crew, leaving a fabulous grin on all of the tour participants during and after this adventure. The welcome on board and execution of the tour is unbeatable. Small group sizes makes this a special event on top. Diving is carried out safe and secure with the necessary care, both Introductory dive and certified dive can be booked. The snorkelling provides deep insights into the marine live, which is explained very well with in-depth knowledge of the great barrier reef marine ecosystems and as well deepened on the glass bottom tours. The morning coffee and muffin eases up the admin work that every passenger needs to complete. Lunch and post snorkel snacks are tasty and sufficiently available. This is a must do in Cairns if you want to experience the reef and the cay's biological diversity. Good teach on man made hazards and destructive behaviours, creating the necessary environmental awareness. We were able to bring our infant onboard, which was really special and we felt very safe all the time. Worth to mention, that the crew are weather god's, when it was looking quite bad, their prediction of sun and calm waters was absolutely right, enabling a worry free experience all day long. Guys, just continue to be as great as you are! Really loved it. Recommended!!!!

The staff worked really well together and in helping us get organised and into the water for snorkeling. The staff member Alba made my day!! She is a CHAMPION!! Her kindness, caring, patience and helpfulness, was just what I needed today, as i was flustered, arriving late after getting lost with road closures. I did enjoy the reef and fish, and both educational talks, and the food was SUPER delicious!! Loved the muffins and tea too! A few let downs... I did find the interior to be fairly run down, not exactly luxury as I expected (and is advertised.)1super tiny toilet with stains on the seat.. And I did feel sad when our family of 5 had no where to sit. People were reluctant to move over to give us seating. Eventually some were asked to move over... however my daughter and I had to sit on the hard steps that lead to the front of the boat. This was really uncomfortable for the hours of travel time. Usually they have 36 onboard, but had 25 due to Covid standards..I cannot image being on it with 36 people, as it was already very squishy. Anyhow, if you are less fussy than me and focus more on the destination and underwater experience, you will not be too disappointed! The crew are really good people! And the locations are wonderful.

The best way to top off our Australian vacation was to experience Seastar Cruises. The crew was amazing, well educated and top class service. The equipment was in great shape for snorkeling and diving. I am sharing video clips and pictures to tell the story. Words can not describe the beauty!!
