Best place to visit if you’re in Queensland. This zoo is massive and you would need to spend the whole day here to cover everything/every animals. They have water playground for kids to cool down as well as obstacles courses for kids to play while the parents have a little picnic break with the packed lunch box. The Wildlife Warriors Shows is not to be missed. The staff are friendly and very knowledgeable about the animals and the history of the animals they looked after. If you’re lucky, you’ll get to see the staff walked some of the animals like what we did - the wombat and the 4 year old Cheetah name Lawrence.

Was the best day of my life by far. Have always wanted to go to Australia Zoo and I finally made it happen. Was as good as I hoped. Friendly staff , staff/volunteers engaged in conversation and were knowledgeable about the animals and their conservation efforts as well. The wildlife warrior show was jaw dropping and will definitely be making an effort to comeback when possible.
We had awesome experiences withourfirst visit, there are so many different animals! And well organised play park for kids to take a break. *we got a beautiful Koala holding photo shoot. Love it
Absolutely amazing place, We took the train from Brisbane city all the way up to the zoo and there's a bus coach there every few hours, I forgot the hours but you can check the Australian Zoo website, they will also come pick you up if you give them a call. The zoo has multiple places to eat at, and sit at, very family friendly for all ages young to old. On the day we went we saw Terri and Robert Irwin and it was an experience of a lifetime. Seeing the people on the large TV and all over Australia/The World it was a very surreal experience, I suggest if you live in Queensland/Australia, visit when you can, you wont regret it!
Best Zoo I’d ever been too. The croc show was fantastic and it was great to see some of the larger animals like the rhinos and giraffes being almost completely free on their large surroundings. A must if you are in the Sunshine Coast
An absolutely amazing experience. Enjoyed the privilege of being able to volunteer for a day. Had an amazing time exploring. Great to see Robert Erwin doing his family proud.
Great zoo for the big and the small ones. Good variety of animals on display. Many unique animals which you don’t see in other zoos in Australia. There is a wildlife hospital next to the zoo. You can sneak peak the hospital in action. Wear a pair of comfortable shoes. There will be a lot of walking.
Absolutely an amazing Zoo! Although small compared to other Zoo's definitely my favourite!! Grounds and enclosures extremely well maintained and manicured and the animals look to be well loved and cared for! I wish I could visit every weekend! Definitely will be heading back on my next holiday
