I would highly recommend using artsphere for artists websites. What prompted me to use them was seeing the portfolio of professional artists already using it so I figured that they were abreast of the art industry. Ross from artsphere was extremely helpful and patient with my questions and requests and took the time to help me figure obstacles that my site presented, especially as I was designing the site for an artist and not myself. For the help you get and the quality of the site it is also at the most reasonable cost I was quoted for. I have found the site pretty easy to add to and I always look forward to learning more about the back end of it as it's not overly 'techy'. Ross was happy to show me around and get me started over our numerous meetings. The comments I have received so far on the site is very pleasing - especially from the artist herself so that was a huge weight off my shoulders!

As an artist I needed a website that could display multiple images and exhibitions in a clear rational design. My initial Artsphere website some years ago was excellent and I was able to easily modify my images and update as I needed. I recently upgraded and the functionality is even better. I love being able to create a newsletter for events exhibitions and sales of my work rather than bothering with email address lists. The team is really really helpful, based in Melbourne and I can either speak face-to-face on the phone or online. Modd offers an excellent website option.
