Being a plus size bride I was really down thinking I wouldn’t find the right dress where I would feel like a princess & feel comfortable in like I’m sure many plus size brides experience. I visited Connie as my first shop wedding dress shop, it was amazing. The hassle free consult & not pressured into “a sale” made it even better. Connie also recommended what she thought would suit me as I wasn’t sure exactly what I wanted. I tried on a few dresses but left without purchasing as wanted to try on a range of dresses especially since this was first place I visited. I ended up returning to Accapella after visiting several other stores (some I received very unpleasant experiences from). I explained to Connie I loved a certain dress she had but I hated my arms exposed with short sleeves. She listened, asked if I wanted to try on the dress again & gave great recommendations explaining how she could alter the dress, order extra dress material & turn the dress into something I love. I ended up ordering that dress as it had always been in the back of my mind as my favourite. Once the dress arrived I had several appointments to get the dress the way I loved including adding flutter sleeves & shortening the train. Unlike other stores it wasn’t about the sale but helping me feel amazing. My day arrived & I have never felt so good & confident in myself. I could not recommend this bridal shop enough especially for plus size brides.

She put so much love and thought into it and it was nothing short of perfect. My name is Nicole and I had a wonderful experience dealing with Connie at Accapella Bridal. Firstly I ordered my wedding dress when I was 10 kilos heavier , I explained to Connie I was hoping to lose approx 5 kilos , so we ordered the dress in a size 14 at the time which was snug. Not realising I would lose so much weight . When the gown arrived I was 10 kilos less, Connie did an absolutely wonderful job at altering it to fit my body , listening to my requests and attention to detail . She really is a master at her craft . I highly recommend accapella bridal , even if you live a far I would have commute to see her.

Updade: Reply to owner. Yes this is correct place. My mother, mil and MOH can vouch for this. I still have the appointment and conversation made on my old fb account. I also have a screencap from my dash cam of me in a small dress. Happy to post them all here if u like. Few years back i went in to an appointment. I had told them my size as im not a small girl and they said thats fine. They had dresses i wanted to try but wasnt allowed due to they wouldnt be here in time (i had no idea what style i wanted), she kept giving me dresses smaller then i was and said "pretend they fit" and it will fit if i go to thegym. I had to have gloves, hairnet, socks on to be able to even go near the dresses. It all seemed like it was a hassle to the worker. My bridal party and i left upset and disgusted. Completely ruined the wedding dress shopping
