Already on a roll after the GPS had directed me up the rear lane to find the store has a couple of parking spaces. You know the feeling when you open the door to a shop for the very first time, those first second matter. Well the boxes all got ticked here at Alpsport & it was all about customer service. It was all good, actually it was very good. Will I go back, absolutely. Would I recommend, without hesitation.

Purchased a Mont Dragonfly 2P tent as they were on special. Quick to pick up the phone and confirm holding one for me, of which I purchased online. Rang to tell them and they managed to get it posted that afternoon. Being in Newcastle, the tent arrived the next day. Super friendly and very helpful. Cheers guys!

Was reminded of a bad experience I had at Alpsport in 2019 while purchasing new ski boots this week in Canberra for my child - We had travelled a long way to Alpsport lured by good reviews and good prices. We bought a pair of (full price) boots before setting off to japan - the shop assistant would not listen to my child saying that they where uncomfortable brushing it off and arguing that this was how ski boots are meant to be. Two hours into skiing at Nosawa, I was in the rental shop renting boots - I did contact them afterwards and they offered to do a custom fit for some silly amount. Anyone want a pair of size 9 ski boots with 2 hours use?

Great shop - John gave me great advice on a One Planet bag that I’m super happy with. When I noticed a small issue, he connected me with their team and helped me send the bag back for a free adjustment. When the bag took too long to come back prior to my current trip, John helped me make sure I had something to handle the cold. Completely unexpected and really blew me away!
