A very calm atmosphere and a view. You can park the car inside the pier and its like going into the sea. Picnic area is nice and clean. Make sure to bring a picnic mat with you.

Good to stroll around this place after so long. Nice surrounding and the ambient lights all around make it a great place to click few photos. Lucky enough to see full moon during my visit.

PreCovid visit - the entire family took a leisurely train ride across metropolitan Melbourne on a weekend to visit Geelong town. Walked through the main city block with lots of photos taken. Spent a bit of time by the seaside. Nice place to visit as a day trip by train. Highly recommended!

Great fishing spot for small whiting. Easy parking. Lots of friendly people happy to have a chat and give u tips.

A fun spot to relax, people watch, catch the ferry to Melbourne, free WiFi, if, like me, you are visiting from another country and don’t have a data plan on your phone. Even caught a small antique car display here one day during one of my visits in Jan 2920. People were pretty friendly in general and I was able to lay on the grass, take in some sun while napping, and not once did I worry about my safety or my bicycle. Fun spot to take young kids too, plenty of places for food and drink and great spots for pictures.

Iconic part of Victorian shipping history. Well worth a visit. Plenty to do with parks, eateries and walking along the beautiful foreshore.

On a non-busy day was a great stop. Parking was free (Covid?). Good public toilets.

Another gem of Geelong. Take a stroll, relax, come to one of the many events throughout the year or ring in the New Year with the COGG's excellent fireworks display.
