Do not buy tickets online. You have to wait in the same line as people buying tickets anyway and they are cheaper at the door. They let third parties sell tickets online and jack up the prices. The actual museum was very cool. If you just want to see the boats then it's free and you don't need tickets.

Loved being able to enter the ships. The James Craig barque, the replica Endeavour, and the HMAS Vampire destroyer ship. The wildlife photography exhibition was worth the entry fee.

Great museum for all ages. We attended their monthly "mini mariners " program aimed for children. Reasonably priced and the ladies who run it are knowledgeable and extremely enthusiastic which is so nice to see. Props to the lovely young short but energetic lady who really gets into character for Tim the turtle.

I've been here before (in a pre covid time), so my expectations were lowered. Turns out the museum is still very enjoyable for both naval nerds (my father and I), the more artisticly inclined (my mother) and those who enjoy it all (my wife). Definitely worth a visit, even if you can't (currently) visit the Oberon sub.

Great museum with so many things to see! 3 ships in the beautiful harbour to visit and to see inside. Rich history, antique, experience in the gallery worth seeing. Great, knowledgeable, and friendly staff, recommended!

This museum is great for everything maritime. Allow a good 3 hrs to walk through the museum and the ships outside. Due to covid you cannot go inside the ships nor the submarine. Thanks the free entry during Feb21. We’ve been here several times now.

The museum is great , especially it is free of charge in this month, there are some people stand beside the ship and you can ask them about the history of the ship , some museum inside the building , nice experience !

Staff in yellow fluorescent vest told us off for giving my 19months old boy something to bite (he was hungry) what do you want us to do though? We were told once we go out we cannot come back in but can't even give babies a bite to eat if they're hungry. Was fun until this incident and we just left the place.
