I would just like to express how disappointed and upset I am! Tomorrow is my wedding day and my mother had her dress made by Jenny and Robin from Nelder and Jones. They talked a big talk about how they would be able to make her a beautiful dress because they have years worth of experience. My mother is a bigger lady but they said they have made beautiful dresses for larger size woman before. The craftsmanship of the dress is absolutely appalling the dress looks like a potato sack on her and they even told her the back of it sags and she would need to use double sided tape to hold it up - this is not okay!!! They also put the price up dramatically after saying it would cost 800 to begin with. They also altered my wedding dress and I felt completely uncomfortable with them as I asked them to adjust the bust after they had already fixed it and the response I received abruptly might i add was "well we can't do anything about it that's your body" I then asked them to put two different cups in it so that it would fill out the gapping - which made it look much better! How can I with no experience tell them how to do their job. They also could not even cut the under layers of the dress properly and they were sticking out of the top layer - Jenny told my mum to cut it herself when we got home - what sort of service is this? After paying so much money for my mothers dress and the alterations of mine you would expect them to do their job correctly - to be honest I do not even think you did the bare minimum. Honestly I cannot even express how upset I am and 1 day before my wedding! Both Jenny and Robin knew my mother was walking me down the aisle and if they think the dress they made my mum looks good they need to take off their rose coloured sunglasses. It just seems they wanted to fill their pockets for the least amount of effort on their part!

I am a bbw and I love having my clothes made by Nelder Jones. I dont fit department store clothes. Having outfits made personally by Robin & Jennifer makes me feel special. Thank you Ladies for all that you do. Liana
The staff at Nelder Jones are simply beautiful! They really make you feel special, and have the most exquisite fabrics and gown designs.
