We had a great experience purchasing my son's bike with Daniel. He was friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable. I would recommend this store and seeing Dan for a new, or replacement bike.

Was about to get a set of Continental GP5000s and asked for a price match as I know for a fact 99bikes beats price from other shops. But then the lady at 99bikes Joondalup refused to give me a price beat. She was saying that the tyre I was looking at an online shop was different from what they have. The ones they have are folded while the ones supposed to beat are not. While in fact they are the exact same thing. I looked at her monitor she was actually looking at the a tubeless one which isn’t the one I was after. When I explained it to her she said she was on the phone with the shop and that they didn’t have any stock. I showed her from my phone that it is in stock and ready to ship immediately. She then went back to her reasoning that it’s a different tyre altogether. It’s upsetting that she doesn’t know which is which. There is only one type of clincher gp5000. It’s all the same. Foldable/folding. When my online order comes to my door I am willing to show it here that it’s exactly the same. I have attached photos of what they have and will post photos of what I have ordered online to prove this. I am hoping for some sort of service recovery afterwards. Otherwise, bye for good 99bikes Joondalup. Update : (3 Mar 21) my online order came today. And guess what. Surprise surprise! It’s exactly the same! I guess 99bikes Joondalup staff doesn’t know what their shop is selling.

If you are in need of a new bike or bike parts, I fully recommend you see Dan at 99 Bikes Joondalup. He truly goes above and beyond - even for beginners like me. I've just recently bought my first bike after not riding / owning one for more than 20 years. The store is always packed with customers, and even though I only spent a "measly" 1200, Dan made all the time in the world for me to ensure I left a satisfied customer. While everyone around me were buying bikes a minimum of double the amount I paid for my bike, Dan took all the time to answer all my questions. He was never once pushy, never spoke over my head and was well-versed in everything stocked in-store. He sold me everything I asked for and nothing I didn't. I told Dan that I was going to get settled in with my bike first before I look at buying further accessories. 99 Bikes Joondalup will be the first place I stop at for anything bike-related from now on. I suggest you do the same.

Staff super friendly and helpful. Great advice and service. Just bought a Norco mountain bike, very well priced and so smooth. I would highly recommend 99 bikes for their quality and professionalism and excellent knowledge of their products. Thanks 99 bikes. #nowletsride

Went to buy a replacement tube for my bike tire. Served by a lovely young man! Couldn't have asked for a better experience. After I had gotten home and installed the new tube, I wheeled my bike to the front of the house only for it to make a loud 'whoosh' sound and deflate, with a tear on the tube right on the seam of the valve. I had a good inspection of my tire and the wheel for anything that could have punctured it to confirm that this specifically placed tear was indeed a manufacturing issue. Not a problem, the guys at 99 Bikes are lovely, I''ll just take it back. This time, i was served by an older man who without inspecting the tube deemed it úser error. I tried to point out that the tear was right on the seam of the valve, and even offered to bring in the tire which was in the boot of my car to show demonstrate, and was brushed off in an impatient manner. He asked which of us (me or my dad) had installed it, and when I identified myself (a younger woman) as the person who'd installed it, he let me know that he'd replace it but if I kept making errors in installation he couldn't replace it again, but I could pay a 10 installation fee here at the store. Fair enough, I don't expect unlimited refills, but I felt humiliated and upset at the implication that a) I had made an error in installation and b) I would continue to do so, when I've changed many a bike tube before. Bike tube issues notwithstanding, this was a pretty upsetting customer service interaction.

Even with a busy, baking hot store........(air con broken) Jack was very cool, calm and collected as these two novice cyclists bumbled out our explanation of what we needed. First time I have been in a bike store and made to feel good about knowing nothing about bikes. Even escaped without having to sell a kidney to pay the bill.

Jack was humorous, informative, helpful and treated me like I was important and his equal, despite our communication being over email! Instore he met the expectations he had set for me over email. Happy Customer right here!
