Do not use this lady! My daughters had to be re-altered again by a proper seamstress. Her work was so bad. Very stressful and worked out extremely expensive. It should have been a simple alteration, however looked as though she was taking a shortcut and charging for what she didn’t do! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. And would only accept CASH!

Lisa is an extremely experienced dressmaker who I would highly recommend for wedding dress alterations. Three months before my wedding day I was in a bit of a predicament... I had bought my beautiful A-line wedding dress (back zip to the waist, keyhole design on the upper back), but had since found out I would be 24 weeks pregnant on my wedding day. I called the seamstress recommended by the bridal store, who advised me that due to the nature of the dress design she probably couldn’t do anything with it and I’d likely have to buy a different one. When I called Magnolia Rose, Lisa got me to bring my dress in and we talked through options. She ended up replacing the back zip with a perfectly colour matched panel and lace up tie, which could be adjusted to accommodate my bump size on the day (and I could even let the dress out a little in the evening after eating and drinking!). She removed the train at my request and listened to me when I wanted the hem slightly shorter than “floor skimming” because I didn’t want to trip on it. Because my bump also changed the way the dress sat on my upper body she made adjustments to get the keyhole back sitting in the correct place, and loosened the arm holes slightly to reduce rubbing and friction from the lace and beading... It was quite a few changes and the upper part of the dress is fairly embellished, so it was many hours of work. I believe I was charged a fair price - not cheap, but definitely good value for money and far less expensive than buying a new dress! It turned out really well and I was very happy with the service overall.

I found MagnoliaRose Bridal Couture, called and met Lisa the same day. She altered my wedding dress 2 weeks before the big day and it came out just as I wanted it. She understands all my needs and she is a fantastic designer. She is the best amongst all the alterations places that I've ever been to and I'll keep coming back to her. I would definitely highly recommend this place.
