When dress shopping for the big day, I visited all the typical/popular bridal stores in Melbourne, but nothing “WOW’d” me…Upon suggestion, I visited Cappellazzo Couture…Sonia was INCREDIBLE! She understood my vision and the actual construction and fit of my gown is exquisite. Special shout-out to Belinda and Deana too! You ladies are amazing.

To my fairy godmothers! Sonia and Belinda (and the extended team), were an absolute dream to work with. They were kind, caring and they genuinely went above and beyond to create something that made me feel like Cinderella. Sonia and Belinda work so incredibly dynamically together, and in my opinion, are the best in the industry. They are absolute masters of their crafts and when you pair this with their empathetic natures, they are marvels to watch and be around!! I am proud to now know both of them and would send anyone into their loving hands for dresses to be made for any occasion. I have the upmost respect for Cappellazzo and how they are able to make brides dreams come true. What an honor and privilege to have experienced the Cappellazzo magic!
Sonia, from the bottom of my heart thank you for designing and creating the most stunning dress for my wedding day. I had been looking at many wedding dress boutiques and designers which left me extremely disappointed before having an appointment with Sonia, and as soon as I had my consultation with Cappellazzo she knew exactly what my vision was. Sonia is a creative genius and I just loved working with her. Sonia, you are such a beautiful person and loved going on the creative journey with you and valued your honest feedback and ideas along the way. You also created a stunning dress for my mum, she looked stunning and I will forever be grateful. If you are wanting a one of a kind, beautiful designer dress then look no further than Capellazzo. I would highly recommend to anybody.
Every dress is just beautiful
I was really excited to meet with Cappellazzo but was astonished by my bizarre experience with Sonia. She flat out refused to answer a single question about the process until I agreed to deposit 2000. Sonia suggested that in order for me to even learn about how she works I would have to pay her. Her attitude was incredibly obnoxious and she treated me like I wasn’t worthy of her time and she was too superior to work with me. She was also incredibly rude to my friends and mother. None of us can understand how she has any business at all as her huge ego would get in the way of what the bride wants.
From the moment I walked into Sonia’s boutique, I knew that I wouldn’t be looking elsewhere for my wedding dress. I loved Sonia’s work on Instagram and when I saw the dresses in person I just fell in love. For a couture boutique I was concerned they would be pretentious and boy was I wrong. Sonia and Liz were the most beautiful, kind and caring people I’ve met. The attention to detail and constant reassurance has made this process so enjoyable and exciting. I haven’t had anyone come and see the dress in any of my fittings, so Sonia and Liz have been my subsitute family, giving advice and always aware of my feelings and how I feel in my dress. I can’t wait to see the final product in december as I’m so in love with what already has been created for me. Highly recommend Sonia and her team for couture dresses and also very well priced for the quality dress you receive. Would come back for future dresses and recommend to everyone. Xoxox
