Without a doubt best aspect for a seafood restaurant. We ate our bellies full while watching the sun go down, taking in the changing light and sipping champagne. Word of advice go there hungry. Excellent customer service. I rated the food 3.5 and the ambience 5. It’s definitely one of those places you’d go to celebrate an occasion, as you’ll certainly be looked after.

Value for money is very poor. Sea food platter for 2 is the worst I’ve ever had. Very small portions, tiny and I mean tiny oysters (10c coins) Three Squid pieces were tiny and the John Dory fillets could have been from Woolworths frozen packets. The squid dish had so much chickpeas. It’s a squid dish, not a chickpea dish...!! barley enough squid to try. Sea food platter for 2 and you get 3 pieces.. You do the maths. 300 spent and I’m still hungry... 160 for a seafood platter. I could have spent half that at the seafood markets and gotten much better quality and quantity. Don’t wast your money on desert and you’ll be paying 3 X retail price for wine. The service was good with polite and friendly staff hence the two star review. First and last time...

You have out done yourselves with our wedding anniversary dinner tonight. It was nine years since we got married here and we return each year for our anniversary dinner. Last year COVID messed with our plans but we were thrilled to be back dinning with you tonight. Our seafood for two was amazing. We can never go past ordering your whole snapper in red curry, absolutely delicious, highly recommend to anyone to give this dish a try. It was a lovely surprise at the end to receive our desserts with sparklers and chocolate writing saying 'Happy Anniversary'. It's the little touches at Summersalt that always make it a wonderful experience - consistently every single time! Well done Summersalt team.
Service, food, drinks, the view, the ambience, everything was just amazing. From the first instance in the place they made sure to that my boyfriend and I had a lovely evening. Surely will come back!
Summer Salt Restaurant is the picture perfect scenario of a 6 star waterside restaurant. Upon entrance you are greeted by extremely professional and excellent staff, with the choice of sitting at your booked table or enjoying the bar and lounge seating. The theme of the restaurant is extremely vibrant and bright, and the ocean views over Elouera beach are nothing short of breathtaking. The drink menu of cocktails, wines, beers, champagnes, etc is impressive, with original and popular drinks that will please even the most picky of drinkers. The menu is well sized with an extraordinary culinary range to suite the preferred flavour of any customer. The seafood platter was absolutely exceptional, the fish was fresh and beautiful, however most of the hot foods were deep fried, yet still top of their class. Being a 6 star restaurant, Summer Salt does come with a price tag, but would be perfect for an amazing date or celebration with friends and family.

Ambience - tick. Cocktails - big tick. Seafood platter - amazing. Also, pro tip: if there's 4 of you, share the seafood platter as an entree, which then frees you up to also have mains! Overall, a great destination for a delicious dinner. Highly recommend.
