Evolution Gear created a custom cut hard case with internal foam to fit my gold detector. The case was beyond my expectations and all pieces sink into place perfectly. They even labelled each space for its respective part and provided finger latches on the sides for ease of retrieval for the individual parts of the detector. Would definitely use them again.
I bought the HD Long Gun Case 2540. They look very similar to Pelican, super solid case, great service. I've not traveled with it yet, but I'm very confident with the product.
