The miners cottage was an incredible experience. Panning for gold, all found our fair share of gold an the owner Alan is a great character, very friendly an hospitable.

Fantastic experience, Alan is so informative and offers an educational gold panning experience for all (I highly recommend it to homeschoolers passing through). You won’t be disappointed!

We loved it! We just stopped in on a whim. Allan was informative and engaging and we learnt a lot about the mining history of the area. The kids had a blast panning for gold. Definitely an experience we will remember. Felt like stepping back in time.

What a great place this little gem was! Allan was a great tour guide and new a lot of local history. He helped me with some research that I needed and I am very grateful. He takes bookings only unless he's there already. 10 pp was an absolute bargain. Thanks mate for keeping the history alive.

Great fun for the kids. I took my boys there and they loved panning for gold - they even scored a couple of gold flecks. Tony was great with the kids they loved his tales of years gone by, and especially his accordion rendition of twinkle twinkle.
