Really nice and well maintained mine with real history and feel. Really appreciated the experience of being able to walk where it used to be a real mine. Souvenirs were really nice. The tour into the mine is highly recommended. They really show you around and tell you the story behind things that you wouldn't know if you're just walking around by yourself. They even showed us the equipments that the miners used to use back in the day and they will actually turned the machines on and did a demo as well. It was such a great experience. Highly recommended.

Went there to experience the 60m underground mine trip. On the ground , they have a small animal farm for children and also they still have all the old look as before. It’s quite interesting. When u go underground, the guide introduced very detailed. Very good spot for bring a school kids for family event.

Honestly, first impression wasn't great from my end. That changed pretty quickly with the tour with lots of history and story telling of one of the richest mines in the world. Worth the trip for those who likes a little bit of history and adventures alike.

This not-so-successful goldmine has transformed itself into a successful tourist destination. Enjoyed the 61m underground guided tour and the interactive Artisans experience. Definitely recommend them to all the visitors. Our tour guide was very well informed. Enjoyed her lovely, passionate and information commentary. However, in terms of variety and scope, I would rate Sovereign Hill in Ballarat above this mine.

It was really good. Quite a few interactive things for the kids, as well as being able to go up the tower and do a self-guided tour around the place. We didn't do any of the other tours as they were sold out. I recommend you book in advance during school holidays! It was great to see all the old artefacts and find out about the people who worked at that mine. The gift shop had some cute little bits and pieces and do hot drinks. The service was really good and everyone was happy. Recommended for a great historical experience for young and old.

Absolutely amazing experience. I highly recommend the under ground tour. Above ground tour is included in the ticket and the experience and history of the whole mine is amazing.

Simply amazing place to visit. This unique museum was once an operating gold mine. Our guide Christina gave us a full brief on the way the gold mining was carried out. She did two demonstration. The little kids were very impressed. This is a must visit place in my opinion in Bendigo. The place is maintained very well. Apart from the tour we also had a good visit on all the exhibits out there. Quite an informative trip.

Went with my 4 year old, he loved it. Our guide Christina was really knowledgeable and so lovely. It was informative and interesting. We also had a wander around the top to look, it's all really interesting, highly recommend it for the history buffs. We also walked up the poppethead, I recommend that for the physical people lol.
