I am moved to give them one star. Not because we’ve had any problems with water supply (at least that part of the company appears to functioning competently) but because for about the fifth time they have buggered up our billing. Honestly, if I could change water companies I would. When there’s no competition there’s clearly also little incentive to make sure that supporting infrastructure like IT and billing systems are operating sufficiently well to avoid pissing off their customers. Grrrrrr. A pox on their billing.

Thank you YVW!! I placed a call today late afternoon regarding a raw sewerage overflow/toilet blockage. The excellent service from my call to response was within 40 mins and resolved. Well done team! I am very grateful.
We have a sewer pipe in our backyard that became blocked. Someone from YV Water arrived about twenty minutes after I called them to report the issue and he then arranged for someone with the required equipment to come out to fix the issue. He arrived within the hour. A further crew had to come out to clean the roots out etc. They contacted me in that evening to see if it was okay for them to do the job the following morning. Two more workers arrived as advertised and the problem is now resolved. All workers were courteous and thoroughly professional. They are a credit to YV Water.
I have had a very pleasant experience speaking with Daniel who answered my questions & concern regarding yesterday & today's issue with water quality affecting us in certain areas & in turn offered a detailed explanation, 28/8/2020. Thank you so much Daniel for your info, kindness and friendliness. Awesome! Now I will go out & dig up my Artichokes! Stay safe! In addition to the above today, Monday 15th Feb. 2021 I would like today Thank you so much Laura for your kindness and explaining my water problem, and time frame getting it attended to. Much appreciated and thank you, Laura. And Thank you too to Daniel who arrived on time, explained the problem and the issue was fixed. Thank you so much.
Excellent customer service on 2 occasions recently. The first was the contaminated water issue which was resolved expeditiously and we were kept updated in a timely fashion. The second was a blockage of a sewage drain allegedly caused by the roots of a tree on the nature strip. Prompt response to our concern rapid clearing of the problem. Many thanks John
Broken water meter.... on a Sunday. Yarra Valley Water had it fixed within 2 hours of my phone call.
We constantly receive brown water through our taps at home. I have made numerous complaints to Yarra valley water about this situation and they promise the world and deliver nothing. Our current water situation is undrinkable and yet they send us a water bill every quarter!
