Has to be the best gym in Melbourne. Absolute luxury - the spa and plunge pool are unbelievable. I wish they opened 1 hour earlier and closed 1 hour later though. 6am is tight when you squeeze in an hour sesh, sauna, plunge, shower get ready its already 8am. Maybe I am being spoilt here with the sauna though. Even 10:00pm close would be ideal, finish footy training and then go in for a sauna but 9:00pm is too early.. Would love if they turned the sauna up a bit as well. When people walk in and out so often it always drops the temperature significantly. 90 degress would be perfect I reckon.

Really happy with the equipment and cleanliness of the place. V cafe is one option to treat your self before and after your work out with all protein supplement that your body needed. There's lots of classes to choose from, to alter your need. They also have a swimming pool.

Great gym, one of the best if not the best gym franchise in Melbourne. However, it does need a renovation and rejig of equipment to better suit the space. I am sure there is a way to change the layout to incorporate more benches and squat racks

I attended on session on my 12 month membership moved away from the area after losing my job to COVID, now they want me to pay 300 to cancel a membership!! It is literally cheaper to keep paying and not attend, what a ridiculous situation.

Experience at this club is pretty below average. Pool and sauna is always closed despite bookings allowed. Since after lockdown there has not been many group classes onboard and they have even increased their membership fee recently. Tell me how you would feel for the price value for money: 1) membership fee increased despite covid situation 2) customer service deteriorated - not professional and arrogant especially the customer service manager 3) one to five classes a week from over 100 classes pre lockdown 4) Les mills classes mostly reduced to zero 5) club only open for gym floor exercise 6) you need to book a space floor in order to use the gym - different protocols than collins club What disappoints me most is price increased and overall experience has deteriorated! And they have the cheek to speak about transparency, you trust them? Seriously consider these before joining because you may end up in long term contract and they make it difficult to exit after!

You know, these guys are always lovely and welcoming. Whether its for a workout or a casual swim in the pool, theres great facilities and friendly staff. Its quite a pricey gym but they put on a hell of a lot of classes for members. Theres always something to do in the gym. The instructors are really professional, give lots of options and are inclusive to everybody who comes to the classes. I really think they care that you have a good time whilst working out. Its annoying that sometimes the spa has been our of action quite a bit but these things happen. It also must be really hard to adapt to the ever changing covid rules but they do it seamlessly. They’re a credit to the virgin brand! The only piece of constructive feedback id give is that it would be great if you could sell reusable bottles in the gym. Or have some paper cups or something for water, because i just can’t bring myself to buy a bottle of Voss. I think you could sell t-shirts and running shorts as well tbh, make a bit of cash from us forgetful folks and i’m sure they’d be good. :-)
