Bought plate loaded leg curl/extension last week. Difficult to operate it and wanted to return back for refund, the response I get from them was: ”The product/s are in new condition (have not been used): The product has not been used, installed or assembled. ” The equipment was totally in resell condition, but it did not have original packaging box. But they did not accept the return and refund request. How on the earth someone would know the equipment works or not without assembling and trying them, specially when product is bought online. The policy is just to protect them, total scam.

Update 08.07.20 - I have received a few items over the last couple of weeks only because they opened up their phone lines and finally allowing calls through. I had to chase for information as no communication was provided of the status of my orders. The condition of the boxes when they arrived have been far less than acceptable condition. For something that is apparently arriving new by shipping container from overseas, there is clearly handling issues from the time it is removed from the container. With the exception of the bench which has been marked and a slight nick taken out along the stitching on the underside, I am fortunate that the equipment (so far) is in acceptable condition. When I passed on the details and photo's is was basically brushed off. I am still waiting from equipment from an order placed on March 29th, advised that it won't arrive until the end of July at best. Also the Proform Cardio HIIT machine I purchased from this company is an absolute lemon. I've had to go directly to the importing company and it is being replaced due to the equipment being faulty. I've had it for 2 months and only been able to use it 6 times. Most of the time it has sat in pieces due to Technicians attempting to repair the faulty equipment. Order 48341 - I placed this order around 4am on 29th March fully aware there would be a delay. However, there has been no communication with regards to how my order is progressing or when to expect it. They're not answering emails and they don't take calls. If they don't provide an update by the end of the week, my next communication to them will be through the ACCC.

Bought 5k worth of gear for a full set up home gym! Did postage take a little longer than expected? Yes! Are we living through a Pandemic? Yes! Will I order from Gym Direct again? Yes!! I bought squat stands on 20 Dec and by noon 23 Dec, they had arrived!! Gym Direct were transparent with delivery times and in fact, my delivery arrived way ahead of schedule. Extremely fast and efficient delivery. Very happy with the quality of my squat stands. They also had amazing pricing. I would definitely buy from Gym Direct again! Thanks guys :-) !

I made an order for an EZ bar and an adjustable bench over 4 weeks ago. I contacted Gymdirect who apologised that there was a significant delay in the bench and arranged for a refund. They checked stock of the EZbar and sure enough, they had one in the warehouse. Time to communication to when I physically received the EZ bar 24 hours!! (I'm based in Melbourne). AMAZING. Best part is, the quality of the bar is second to none. My communication with Gymdirect has been prompt, efficient and pleasant. From what I can gather, they are doing their best and dealing with factors beyond their control. I understand that there have been people who are upset with delays etc. All I can say is, we are in a pandemic - A little bit of kindness goes a long way.

Ordered 2 sets of dumbbells (one of them being 2.5kg, they are so hard to find everywhere else!) and they came quite quickly - within a week. Happy with the product, however there was some very strong cigarette smells in the packaging, hence the 4* instead of 5*. Have tried to clean it with wipes so hopefully the smell goes away.

I was a little worried dealing with them initially because of the other reviews but they had the best pricing. Before I proceeded with a purchase I emailed them, got some approximate due dates and decided to proceed with the purchase of quite a few items. The items received were great quality, the communication was good and the pricing amazing. The dates I received the items were in line with what was predicted also. All in all, given the demand for equipment out there, they have done a great job and i am happy with both my purchases and experience

Ordered weights and bar to do body pump at home just before Christmas. Gym direct had the order at immediately but then I had some issues with the couriers. They had lost and damaged the weights and lost one of the collars. When I got gym direct involved the immediately organised replacements and followed up to ensure that they had arrived safely. Very happy with the product I ordered and applaud the customer service! Thank you Gym Direct.
