I'm an owner builder - a city slicker building his house in the bush. I needed to put in the formwork for the slab. I had some advice, but wasn't exactly sure what to do. Seeing the high google rating, I took a chance on Timberfix in Lithgow, and what a terrific decision that was! I just wandered in, and Wayne Clark took me and my 11 year old building assistant into the sales room and talked me through setting up the formwork, then sorted me out with everything I needed, from LVLs to metal stakes and screws. Him and the boys even helped me load it all into the hilux. By the next day I'd almost completed the job. Perfect advice and perfect materials. I'll be heading back there as often as possible throughout the project.
