Called up in advance to secure hire only to be told the correct item wasn't in stock when I arrived. Worker in warehouse obviously didn't want to deal with me and was incredibly rude, I ended up leaving after he walked away from me mid conversation! Had great interactions over the phone but the staff member in the warehouse was lazy and obnoxious. I highly recommend going elsewhere, there are 2 other (much better) hire companies around the corner, don't waste your time here.

These guys, and girl, have all the gear you need to get your job done. Done right, done safely, and done at a good price. If they don't have the piece of equipment you need to get your job done, they can source it from one of their many other branches and get here in good time. They all know their gear and service between hires to keep the equipment in great condition.

Rang up a few days beforehand to ask to hire some of there equipment, they said it was fine and would be ready for us to pick up on the day we had arranged. Get to the shop and was told we could not be given the equipment we were paying for because it was had not be tested, even though they knew we were coming on that day to pick up. Everything would have been fine if they had called to let us know (which they had our phone number). Poor management.

Sent a guy to our motel at 7:30 in the morning to move noisey machinery which beeps constantly. Took ages to load. Called the manager Gavin to say it was unacceptable. No apologies, just hung up on after being laughed at and called a child. Was told by law they could pick it up when ever they want (which isn’t really the point is it?). I would have settled for a sorry. Don’t use them. No situational awareness and don’t give a stuff about your job site. Edit: also the equipment hadn’t been tested and was not functioning on delivery.
