Situated in the heart of beautiful Gold Creek Village, is this breathtaking Abbey. Ive attended concerts over the years, weddings, functions and dinners and even school graduations in this cosy yet grand building. The cherry on the top of course is the exquisite Grand Pipe Organ, the Roslyn Organ, named after L.F Roslyn, who designed it. The Abbey’s website states: “ … delighted to present one of the worlds finest carved masterpieces made of Oak timbers from shipwrecks and Manor houses. The Oak timber is 800–1000 years in age and weighs 40 tonnes. The carving is one of the fewest rare works of art permitted to leave the United Kingdom. It was built in 1911…” A unique treasure in a unique and intimate setting, I think everyone should experience coming here at least once in their lifetime.
The Abbey is our venue of choice for our property events twice a year. We held our event last night and as always we can't recommend them enough! Venue is stunning and Stewart and Katherine went above and beyond to ensure we had a very successful evening. Thank you, The ParkTrent Team
