We bought fine mulch from the Caloundra Recovery facility, in the first lot there were already a number of concrete pieces, the 2nd lot we bought we collected over 40kg of concrete out of 1.5 metre of mulch, some were pretty big chunks. Fine mulch from the Buderim facility is much better, but it means we have to travel an additional 15km to get mulch.

They do a good job, I preffered the Caloundra City Council. Sunny Coast Council is no good at environmental protection though.
We were visiting Caloundra. Parked in Ontranto Ave to have lunch. Was not aware of paid parking as the sign was partly covered by tree branches especially the little writing saying meter. Also there was a person installing a parking machine and me and my partner both thought paid parking was going to be implemented. We returned to the car to discover a parking fine! I have no problem paying for parking as we did in Brisbane. But not having clear signage is intended to trick visitors to pay fines .Went straight to council to pay my fine and drove straight out of town as didn't feel welcome as a visitor. Plenty of better towns to spend time and money.
You do think s a lot quicker roads,/ Infrastructure ,,/.building /,speed.signs / Gutting.,/ parks./ water pipes,,/ sewages pipes and water /doing it a lot faster.done.now.
Thanks for all the work you do on our parks and roads to make Caloundra look so great. You have made our city into a beautiful place to live and visit. Also, thanks to your beach cleaners and the cleaners of the public toilets - always beautifully clean and the staff are so polite and helpful. (1 tiny thing - can you please put soap in the toilets - tks) Well done SCC - happy to pay my rates as we can see and enjoy all that you do.
Do not now yet,have not got in Touch,with them two see if they do there job properly and quickly / I am submitting this to someone in the Council to do something, they driving over the footpath and leaving their car on the footpath in Verney Street
