I dug out my Dads early 90s JBL speakers and Kenwood sound system from the depths of his garage which had been stored nicely for 20 years and took them in to Jason to be reconed and have all the electronics inspected and tested. He has done an amazing job and I could not recommend him highly enough. So glad I took the extra time to leave them with him get such a quality job done at a great price. Highly recommended operator - I can see a few people mention in other reviews that it can take some time for the work to be completed, but if you are patient and wait the couple of weeks it is well worth the effort.

Very passionate in regards to their trade. Fixed my 104's up & they are sounding suburb once again.

Found their business via Google and drove up to Osborne Park from south of the river to put a sub-woofer in for repair. Staff member advised I should of booked an appointment ahead of time. Filled out my details on a slip of paper and have not heard anything after several weeks. I'm fine with waiting, I can understand if they have a backlog - but surprised I wasn't issued a job number at the time or via e-mail there-following (still haven't got one). Their website does not allow for tracking of your job either. Called and left a message last week, no response yet. Might have to go in to find out what's going on. I'll update this review's rating if the work has been done to a suitable quality or if there was an understandable mix-up RE: my contact details. EDIT: Emailed them on June 15 asking for an update, received two responses a week later (June 22) indicating the part ETA would be 7 working days. Emailed them again on July 10th asking for a further update, no contact since. Left them another voicemail today on the mobile number provided in the e-mail signature. Lowering this to a 1-star rating.

Jason (Speaker Doctor) replaced the bass surrounds in my ProAc Response 2 speakers. I have nothing but praise for him. His email communication is prompt, his pricing more than reasonable and he completed the job when he undertook to do so. His work was faultless. What more do ya want? If you are in need of speaker repairs, Speaker Doctor is your service.

I went into this shop to have a look and ask a few questions and wow, I have never met a person who was so obnoxious with negative social skills, who belittled my stereo setup and basically told me to f-off as he doesnt have time. Quote, i spend more time with people that dont know and dont spend than those that know and spend. They may know a thing or two but their social skills are terrible. They only have a limited range of gear some of it is high end, however, if you are in the mood to be insulted, be my quest.

I rate this business and its technicians very highly. Around 15 years ago a (then) mate found some old Celestion Dittons on the side of the road and had them repaired by a fellow named Jason. He gave me his contact details and over the following years I too had several speakers repaired and modified by him. Now he is, or working at, The Speaker Doctor and recently I had a 1970s vintage Rola car dash speaker fully restored by them. Amazingly, they had new - old stock parts for this very model and effected a superb repair in a very quick turn around time for a very reasonable price. Not only that but they posted it off to an interstate buyer for me as well. On at least three occasions I have asked staff at the Speaker Doctor for advice on various things, hi-fi related, and always get a well written and thought out response - highly unusual these days of one line half-hearted replies from businesses. 5 stars.
