We walked into Metropolis and instantly knew this was the place for our wedding. The staff were amazing in the lead up to and on the night. Nothing was too hard for them and had the venue exactly how we wanted it on the night. Guests are still talking about the venue, and we can't wait to attend a function at Metropolis.

I simply cannot explain how amazing this venue is & how great staff were to work with. We chose this venue upon first glance without considering any others as we immediately fell in love with the stunning windows, and SO glad we did. Food was incredible, we had so many amazing compliments from our guests, great service and just overall so accommodating. Alanna was highly organized, SO helpful and accommodated everything we wanted without any hesitations. I’d do it all over again if we could!

Metropolis events is honestly the most incredible venue we could have ever dreamt of. With everything that happened with Covid, throughout the whole journey, we were always looked after by all of the staff members. We always felt so welcomed and looked after throughout each situation. When we finally got a date and organised the wedding in 6 weeks, the service we received was beyond measure. All the staff were helpful, responsive, positive and even on the night were calming both our nerves! Every single person we dealt with, including Emily, Camilla, Helen, Sarah, Des, Precious, Arty, just to name a few, made Daniel and I feel incredibly special and because of each staff members’ attention to detail and 100% genuine care, we are forever grateful for their contribution to what will always be the most unforgettable night of our lives. Saying thank you will never be enough!!

Very fancy venue which was able to be fully decked out for a wedding that I attended. The food was superb, the views were remarkable. The whole place had a New York vibe with floor-to-ceiling windows. Great work Metropolis.

We got married at Metropolis in February 2021 and we couldn’t be more grateful for the staff at Metropolis. I was amazed at how stress free the entire day could be - as they literally took care of everything!. The reception room itself needed minimal decorations as it is absolutely stunning without even touching it. The food was amazing - we had a lot of great feedback regarding the food from our big Italian families (which is a huge compliment in itself!). Camilla (our events planner) was absolutely fantastic to work with - we were forced into COVID lockdown just days before our wedding which left us little to no time to coordinate or prepare anything during the lead up period. Camilla helped us finalise the contracts and finer details in one day and made sure everything was perfect for us upon arrival. I cannot recommend Metropolis enough. They brought our dream wedding to life!

Now I don't normally write too many reviews but in this case I had to make an exception. Wow, what a venue The Metropolis is! My wife and I cannot thank Sarah, Camilla and their team enough. They helped us organise our wedding within a month and knowone could fault the night. Food was excellent and the service was world class. I have never felt so looked after in my life. It was such a memorable experience! I would also like to say thanks to Devon, a special young lady who will go far in life with such an excellent work ethic and attitude. Devon's service was incredible, truly deserves some recognition. For anyone looking at using this venue for their wedding or event. Do not hesitate. They are exceptional, you will not be disappointed.

Thank you, Alanna, for organising the reception for us! I am still feeling blessed and thankful to be able to hold such event during the COVID-19 period. All of the guests praised about how nice the venue with the backdrop of Yarra River is as well as the food. I am grateful the guests are as impressed as us throughout the canapés and reception. I will recommend my friends if they plan to hold meetings or receptions in the future.
