The Government always wins in the end, even with an excellent Shine Thanks to the team for their efforts because they won me a larger lump sum compensation. BUT with it came a major backhand from the government I would advise others looking to take on WC with Shine to look in to how the various government departments will treat your claim and you, before you embark on a very, very long battle. I feel in many cases it would be better to take the first offer from workcover and work with them and/or centrelink to get back on your feet. It will be much less stress and strain in the end and you wont be shut out from all help and services.
