The rooms are nice, but the staff appear to have no understanding of pleasantries or customer service. Every interaction asking for help or guidance through the Daintree was met with indifference or a push to sell you on a tour. Rooms are surprisingly nice, but showers cold and no WiFi

A great site with excellent facilities. Nestled in the rainforest, this caravan park has a peaceful vibe and is super comfortable. It’s pricey, but worth it. The on-site restaurant (Turtle Rock Cafe) has free Wifi when you’re sitting at it - which you WILL need because there is absolutely ZERO phone reception out here. The staff are incredibly helpful and offered free use of the phone when we were trying to book things. Rather than a typical caravan park, this place has a bit of a ‘classy backpackers’ vibe due to its friendliness, inclusivity, and coolness. The atmosphere of the cafe at night is kinda rad - Sunday nights they do Momo dumplings and live music, and all the locals show up! The bathrooms are very clean and everything worked well, the kitchen is great, and the pool was nice. We didn’t consider the pool, but it was a godsend on a hot day because you can’t swim in the ocean due to stingers and crocodiles. There’s a small grocery store just over the road, and beach access too (so you’re basically on the beach). The only critique I have is that the caravan / tent sites were quite close together (we had neighbours on one side of us, and behind us too) but it was quiet enough. Also, the walk to the toilets felt quite far in the middle of the night.

This place was nice. Eco-friendly accommodation. The campsites are very lush and tropical! Very crowded though. I felt like I was camping on top of other people. Wasn't impressed with the vans that rocked up in the evening and tried to avoid paying (one of them hid behind a big motorhome at the very back of the park). Ammenities are ok, could be cleaner. Camp kitchen is good. Cafe out the front with good coffee and food.

Had a great stay here, all the staff were lovely and amenities were clean and their camp kitchen was amazing. Powered sites were spacious and it was a nice quiet area. Cafe out the front does really good coffee. Reception was super helpful booking tours and recommending places to eat.

You have to put this place on your bucket list, it’s right in the rainforest and they have left it as natural as possible, also a short beautiful walk to the beach. It’s a shame we couldn’t stay any longer but will definitely be back. The staff are just awesome and so friendly and there is so much to do. The boardwalk is a must do, you get the true rainforest experience, JUST LOVE THIS PLACE! This is the oldest rainforest in the world, even older than the Amazon

Lovely place, we had a snorkeling experience on the reef and that was great. Really good costumes servise, good restaurant. The skipper and the guide of the reef tour was amazing
