I sent parts to be powdercoated, 4 weeks later and a few phone calls. The parts have not been powdercoated and the woman in the office can’t find my parts in the yard
Quoted price then added excessive hidden costs after I committed to the project (800 "taping charge"??!) Very poor attention to detail on powder coat...owner told me to cover imperfections with spray paint. I had to actually re-tape parts myself and some were re-sprayed four times before correct. Took over three months to complete what was promised in two-three weeks. Don't believe a word that comes from Michael Smith's (owner) mouth. Could not reason with him either...despite the many extra trips I made to return parts (that I had to sand, re-tape and prep myself so it would be done correctly) he insisted I got a quality job at a fair price and refused to negotiate price. Charged 3500 for what CanFab quoted at 1000. Horrible experience.
