TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE SERVICE! We bought furniture from Harvey Norman Osborne Park in December 2020. We were told it would take approx 12 weeks and we were very understanding considering the situation with delays in furniture everywhere. We paid in full on the day we ordered. Mid April after not hearing anything from Harvey Norman, I decided to call to follow up. Michael couldn’t tell me where the furniture was at and told me he’d call me back to let me know. He never did, to this day! I called again to follow up and was told the furniture would take 4-6 more weeks on top of this. The sales rep I spoke to said Michael should have called me back and couldn’t think of any excuses as to why he didn’t. We demanded a full refund and vow to never, ever go back. We went to the Furniture Gallery and their service was wonderful. Friends and family I’ve since told have said the same about Harvey Norman Osborne Park and vow never to return. We were patient, we paid the money and were treated like rubbish as a customer. The sales reps we dealt with were very poorly trained and lacked basic customer service.

One of the biggest HN locations. Somehow I never quite get what I need here and leave feeling slightly annoyed by the shopping experience. Whilst you might pay a little more at David Jones (and not always), the shopping experience is vastly better
Excellent experience with Nigel in the flooring department who helped my parents replace all their carpet with hybrid flooring. End product looks great and Nigel was a pleasure to deal with, very honest and reliable. Thank you!

It was an absolute unpleasant experience. I purchased a sofa back in December 2020 and I was told the sofa would arrive the latest in mid January with COVID hindrance. I started to make phone calls during late Jan, early Feb to try to get an update on the progress; however, I was told the sofa has arrived and someone will make contact with me regarding the delivery date. I waited and waited.... until yesterday I called again and they said they tried to contact me in early Feb, maybe its a missed call?? Well, then you don't need to follow up if I didn't pick up?? Fine, I eventually got the delivery organised for today, and I was left with 6 boxes of sofa compartments. No one has ever told me that it requires assembly or if there is an option for assembly service. I rang back and I was told the earliest possible time is tomorrow. Harvey Norman has been passive in the whole encounter, no updates or progress initiated by them. Lets hope I won't be as disappointed tomorrow as I currently am at the moment. Personally, this will be my first and last purchase from Harvey Norman Osborne Park.
