Well I've been living here in Benalla for 4 years. Love Millers Department store. It's housed in a 1930s art deco building. First impressions is its abit jumbled and full of stuff. It's not like stores of this century ie streamlined and generic. It's a store I remember from my 1960s living in Dandenong. When you look at what they have, really look, they have great stuff. Staff are super friendly.. Not pushy. Give them a look through... Hope that they don't change too much in the future.

This is a classic old fashioned department store. I was enjoying taking photos of the window display, very reminiscent of a 1950s window. Then I saw a modern day jacket I fancied, so we went shopping. Inside, there are a few relics of the old days, still proudly on display.

This is a fairly big department store which contains a wide variety of clothes and miscellaneous items to buy. The staff are very friendly and nice and were supportive in helping you with any queries you had. Got myself some Hawaiian shirts which were of terrific quality!

Millers is an institution in Benalla ..they have a great range of doilies u just dont find anymore even on line...if u cant find an item u may find it in Millers just the place

In Melbourne I happened to see a little girl wearing a rainbow dress. It would be perfect for my grand daughter's rainbow-themed party. I therefore approached the little girl;s mother and asked where she'd bought it. Millers at Benalla, she told me. I phoned the store and was put on to Margaret, who told me that the dress in the size I needed was sold out. But she offered to try to find one for me. It took a week of phonecalls to warehouses etc, but she accomplished her task. The parcel arrived today. I was delighted! What wonderful, old-fashioned service. And all done over the phone.
