I wanted to make a special mention about Sue at the women’s footwear section at Myer’s Macquarie Centre. Sue is extremely helpful, courteous & friendly. These lovely ladies in this department are on their feet all day attending to customers, going back & forth to the store room fetching different sizes for various pairs of shoes. Sometimes to their unfortunate luck, dealing with challenging & high maintenance customers. Yet, they always have a smile on their faces & they provide professional service in a wonderful, courteous & cheerful manner. Myer’s Macquarie Center, please give Sue special recognition for doing such a wonderful job always. Thank you so much Sue for being so pleasant & helpful despite this being so close to the end of such a long, exhausting day.
Was queueing to pay for a while in a line that says "queue" here but was not served immediately when I was next. I had to call this out. One of the cashier lady was helpful and helped me out immediately but the other one was quite ignorant. A shop as big as Myer should be able to manage queue properly without customer needing to call this out.
Pros: Perfect location. Good variety and price range. I like the sale offers here. Have all for men, women and kids. To add the staffs are really good. Grab a coffee or a mill tea and just keep on shopping. Good range of perfumes too. Also the same for shores and designer bags for ladies. Cons: Should give more discounts for regular customers. Also should have seating space.
It's Myer. Standard stuff. It's been in decline for years. Staff are generally happier chatting with each other than seeking to assist. Good service is generally the exception rather than the rule.
Myer rarely disappoints! They seems to stock everything I may need other than FOOD. This store is well laid out & whether you visit to buy a special item for yourself or a gift, I'm sure you will find something suitable. But I'm a long time Myer fan. ENJOY
