Unfortunately not the gym for me, need to update some of the equipment & the plates are looking worn. Highly suggest new squat racks too. If you like using machines & classes then this may be the place for you. The staff were friendly & it is a relatively clean gym however it just needs a revamp. It feels & looks old compared to the gyms I have been to.

Best gym ever. A real gym, no pretence or fakeness, just a fantastic gym that is absolutely perfect.
I have been a member of The Newtown Gym for many years and continue to renew my membership for the following reasons, the gym is centrally located with up to date equipment and many professional and varied classes but probably mostly because the staff and management are friendly and helpful and always seem to always have the members best interests at heart i.e. you ask for something or make a suggestion and they actually listen to you and many of the requests are implemented. If your looking for a gym with a friendly professional, fitness focussed atmosphere then I highly recommend The Newtown Gym.

I will miss this gym so much! Sadly having to cancel my membership as I'm moving interstate, I cannot praise the wonderful staff, experience and positive and inclusive culture of Newtown Gym enough. Thank you so much for all that you do!

I have been with Newtown Gym for 4 years and it is like no other gym I have ever been to. Staff and members alike are genuine, kind people - it is a true community with people from all walks of life. Whether you're squatting 160kg, getting your cardio in or doing one of the classes, you will feel comfortable here! Chris, Felicity and the team have created something really special.
